Richard established Loughtons in 1995, having worked for the previous 5 years for a major Bank and prior to that, an Insurance Company in Central London where he was born and brought up. Richard decided to leave the smoke some 18 years ago and move to Devon. Since starting the business, he has seen it go from strength to strength, now being one of the largest independent financial advisory practices in the region. Richard specialises in advising both personal and business clients on Pensions, Investments and Inheritance Tax Planning. He now considers Chudleigh to be his home where he lives with his wife Sarah, their two children Lucy and William and numerous dogs and horses!
