The traditional financial advisory business model is based on the assumption that following an initial consultation, a client will buy a financial product from the adviser resulting in payment to the adviser for recommending the product.

At Loughtons we offer a different approach. Whilst we recognise the importance of products, our primary purpose is to help you plan effectively.

As professional financial planners, we believe that financial planning is not about products. Our approach brings a refreshing change, as we help you to clearly define your goals and objectives and if appropriate implement products to help you achieve them.

All of our services are provided on a transparent adviser charging or fee basis, with all costs agreed with you in writing before any work is undertaken. This ensures that you know what we will be advising you on and what you will be paying for the advice, before committing yourself. Many of our established clients take comfort from knowing that there are no biases created through reliance on having to sell products.
